Obesity debates ignoring disease complexity, researcher says

Current obesity debates often oversimplify the disease’s cause by either blaming the individual or blaming the environment. But, Prof. Joshua August (Gus) Skorburg, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Guelph, says this is a harmful oversimplification.
