One Health Colouring Book
Becky Anderson earned her BSc. with honours in Microbiology, and a minor in Biotechnology in 2019, and her MSc. in Pathobiology with a focus on veterinary infectious diseases in 2021, both from the University of Guelph. Her MSc thesis focused on the characterization of antimicrobial resistant bacteria found in dairy manure. It was during this time that Becky first encountered the term One Health
and developed a passion for science communication—both of which have become recurring themes throughout her career.
Becky is passionate about using creative and innovative communication methods to bridge the gap between researchers and the general public. Her passion extends to the science-policy interface, where she leverages her interdisciplinary research background, along with her skills in marketing, communications, and strategic planning, to make a meaningful impact in her community.
